A little late posting because life had other plans – the best kind.

Our daughter had a baby right before Mother's Day. So my wife and real estate partner, Cathy, spent the day and most of the night holding our daughter's hand.

And just like that, she became Bama Tassie.

Bama (pronounced Baa‑ma) was Cathy's grandmother's name – Big Bama. Then came Cathy's mother, Bama Taffy. Now the newest Bama is Tassie (Irish for grandmother). Three generations.

As for me? Cathy says my new name is Grumpaw (grandfather + grump). She knows me too well.

Sometimes the best marketing is no marketing at all. Just family.

Happy belated Mother's Day.
