An important part of serving clients well is staying informed beyond transactions.

Last week, I joined regional Chamber leaders in Raleigh for the Western North Carolina regional Chambers legislative visit, where Governor Josh Stein spoke alongside North Carolina Chamber President & CEO Gary Salamido and other elected and state officials about the policies shaping our business communities and regional growth.

Together with fellow Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce leaders, we met with our local legislative delegation to discuss priorities impacting our area, including additional Hurricane Helene recovery funding, workforce housing, and educational programs that support a strong future workforce. Transylvania County Commissioner Larry Chapman also joined us for the event.

Conversations like these provide valuable perspective on not just where our communities are today, but where they’re headed next.

It’s work I care deeply about, and part of what allows me to guide clients with a broader understanding of the region they’re investing in, moving to, and calling home.
