WEEP HOLES
Wintertime is here and this means winter pest. During this time of year pest such as mice tend to find a warm place to live, and that one place may be your home. One way these pests can enter your home are through weep holes, which are small openings at the bottom of the exterior brick veneer of your home. These small opening were mandated with new construction of homes during the 1980's to allow for water that had seeped into the cavity in the wall to drain out in order to prevent structural damage to the home. However, when a newly constructed home is built many contractors do not inform the buyer that screens are needed for these weep holes to prevent pest from entering the dwelling. So, make sure you insert weep hole covers, custom fitted screens, Weepa Protector Weep Hole Scree, steel wool, etc.
