**Hungarian Opera**

Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater is presenting Bartók's one-act opera "A kékszakállú herceg vára" (Duke Bluebeard's Castle) in Hungarian with English supertitles in November 2024.

Bluebeard is a digestible, one hour show with a riveting plot and only two singers. Plus, Bartók's lush score is a feast in and of itself.

The link to show dates/times and tickets can be found on the Theater's website at gowandahollywoodtheater.com/upcoming and also here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/duke-bluebeards-castle-tickets-1030269071527

Welcome to Bluebeard’s castle, where newlywed Judith discovers 7 mysterious rooms - each revealing a new secret about her enigmatic husband.

Special thanks to the medical students for helping out with the event.
