San Mateo County's housing market remained strong in May, with the median single-family home price reaching $2.2 million, up 6% from last year. While single-family homes are taking slightly longer to sell, condo and townhome prices surged 24% year-over-year to a median of $1.13 million and are selling faster than they were a year ago. Overall, demand remains healthy, particularly in the condo market, as buyers continue looking for more attainable options in a high-priced market.
