Goals Change. Strategies Should Too
When a home first goes on the market, sellers often have a very clear goal.
Sometimes that goal is getting the highest possible price. And that's perfectly reasonable.
But when a property sits on the market while conditions are changing, goals can evolve.
What felt most important on Day 1 may not be what matters most 30, 60, or 90 days later.
Maybe a job transfer becomes more urgent.
Maybe carrying two house payments gets old.
Maybe a family situation changes.
Or maybe the goal simply becomes, "I just need to sell it and move on."
There is no right or wrong answer. Real estate is rarely just about the house — it's about what is happening in the seller's life.
One of the most important parts of my job is helping clients revisit their goals as the market changes and making sure the strategy still matches what they want to accomplish.
The best plan isn't always the same plan from the day the sign goes in the yard.
