Pro tip: home builders who can't spell "radon" shouldn't install radon mitigation systems! This passive mitigation system was installed by a home builder during construction. The vent pipe is installed too close to the eave, preventing activation of the system, if necessary. The end result is costly roof repairs to relocate the vent pipe to a location where a fan can be installed to protect the occupants of the home from exposure to cancer-causing radon gas.
