No matter if you are buying or selling a home you should have a mold assessassessment to determine if you have an issue. This was a toxic scenario

Often overlooked or not maintained correctly your chimney can drain water from the top all the way onto and under basement floors regularly. This home had a fair amount of mold in the basement where this drains to. I am a total inspector no matter what company hat I’m wearing that day as I am a Licensed Home Inspector, a Certified Mold Assessor, A Licensed Home Improvement & Nuisance wildlife Contractor, and I absolutely love inspecting for deficiencies that most just walk past. I also go for the Root Cause so the client knows what’s to be fixed so it dosent happen again.
