Nobody make any sudden movements. We don’t wanna scare it away.… I’m not even gonna complain about the love bug showing up again if it means that feels like temperature, the humidity, and the rain chance are all within normal limits.

When I was in high school they called me office max cuz I always had whatever someone might need.

20 something years later and nothing has changed.

I have my go back for real estate, the car bin with everything but a spare key, the open house bag packed with the essentials, and 98% of the time I have this in my bag (or the smaller version) of any and every thing we might need for Disney.

And as I typed this I realized I am prepped for everything but a hurricane. Go figure.

But I have two questions for you: Are you the prepper and if so, what’s your favorite go to item? Or are you the need-er and what’s the one thing you’re always looking for?
(And why do I know it’s a phone charger) 😂

The amount of times I cried while we were selling and buying and how many times I wanted to take the house off the market, and then as you live you do find reasons you hate the previous owner/flipper/builder…

It’s a whole thing.

But then I watch the animals in our yard and see how much the trees have grown and all is well.
Until I find the next issue 😂😂

We’re so fortunate to share a yard (and street)bwith a few gopher tortoises and I hope we get to see some babies roaming around but we’ve also seen 3 hit by a car this week alone.

I wish people would slow down, in general, but especially to watch out for the creatures we share spaces with

Baby gopher tortoise season is here! 🐢
 
Newly hatched gopher tortoises are only about the size of a golf ball! These tiny tortoises may be hard to spot, but they’re out there, and they need our help to make it safely across the road.
 
We’ve lost four baby gopher tortoises to vehicle strikes at Bok Tower Gardens just this past week! As you’re entering the Gardens, please slow down, stay alert and watch carefully for these little ones crossing the road.
 
Gopher tortoises face many threats, including habitat loss and fragmentation. This year, the species was reclassified as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List, highlighting the urgent need to protect them and the habitats they depend on.
 
Please help protect these little guys by driving carefully as you enter the Gardens. Thank you! 💚🐢

When I send my clients a list of houses to check out it’s not just the mls “this is what’s available in the areas you chose for 4/2”

I’m going on a whole adventure and taking notes and pointing things out and prepping permit emails in case they want to see it in person. We don’t need to waste our time, or the sellers time if theres too many concerns. And don’t get me wrong, sometimes it works out and we negotiate from the start and all is good! But sometimes, we bring these things up and negotiate and get push back and we move on.
This can help prevent a longer drawn out process. In my experience anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️
