It wasn’t my forever home. It was the one that got me started.

In 2011 I bought my first home in Atlanta for $285K. It wasn’t fancy, and it wasn’t perfect. But within two years it had made me $100K, and that gave me the push to take my next step.

That’s how it kept going. One home turned into the next, and the next.

Here’s what I know now: there is no perfect time to buy. Rates, prices, inventory... something is always off. Waiting for perfect usually just means waiting.
