On any given afternoon at WonderBlock, there are dozens of people working across the floors of a building that didn’t exist two years ago.

Six floors up, those crews have finished the first apartments that will have residents loading in their furniture in just a few short months — floors down, cabinets in, appliances set, Ben Lomond framed in the windows.

This is what a project this size looks like from the inside. The finished apartments on the top floor exist because of the people on the scaffolding below them, and every floor between the two is getting closer.

The story of this block has always been about the people who built it.

It still is.

Crews broke ground in Boise on October 9, 2025. Ten months later, Dorado Station is six stories of structure with 212 apartment homes framed out, and electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in advancing floor by floor.

Façade work is next, then interiors. 
 
Milestones like this belong to the people who hang their hard hats on the wall every morning — our field teams and trade partners who have kept this project moving on schedule through a full Idaho winter. Thank you!

The Rumors are true.

J. Fisher Companies is bringing The Rumor Hotel — a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property — to Historic 25th Street in Ogden. 92 rooms. Seven suites. A full restaurant and bar. The final piece of Wonderblock.

Construction starts this fall. Doors open early 2028.
