👉 PROTEST YOUR PROPERTY TAXES… EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
I hear it all the time:
• “I don’t know how to do it”
• “I already have a homestead exemption”
• “I’m exempt (veteran, etc.)”
• “I did it once already”
• “The market is going down anyway”
• “That’s just part of owning a home”
Here’s the truth ⬇️
Appraisal districts are NOT walking through your home.
They’re valuing it based on comps, data, and what they can see from the outside.
And right now… values are climbing fast—and not always accurately.
I’ve seen firsthand how rising property taxes can put real pressure on homeowners. The good news? You have the right to challenge it.
Even if you have exemptions in place, protesting your value can:
✔️ Help reduce your current tax bill
✔️ Keep your home more affordable long-term
✔️ Help stabilize values in your neighborhood
And just because you protested before…
👉 You still need to do it again this year.
