What actually goes into demo day? A little more than just bringing in an excavator and knocking down a house.

Before the demo starts, the site needs to be prepped, utilities disconnected, and the house prepared so the crew can safely work through the structure. Then it’s time to start taking it down, managing materials and debris along the way.

The crazy part is how quickly it all happens! A house that’s been here for years can be completely gone by the end of the day. Then you’re left with a blank lot, ready for a completely new house to take its place!
