Some new realistic renderings for Lightwell II/ The Brutalist!

Swipe to the end to see Lightwell 1 renderings and the similarities. The Brutalist is essentially the same layout with a bigger footprint and modifications for a more sloped site. Size wise the Brutalist version is 3136 sq ft compared to 2517 sq ft at Lightwell 1.

I started a fun side project while the Brutalist was getting off the ground as a creative outlet to keep my mind busy and because I ran out of cute merch to send my investors and friends. Also I like to wear a uniform when I go to site or meetings and I needed a refresh!

The samples are great but I made a couple tweaks and now they are good to go :)

The T-shirts are really soft and I’m super happy with the quality. All the T-shirts are by Comfort Colors.
Sweatshirts are Gildan heavyweight which overall I’ve had good results with in the past on job sites.

Anyway guess what my family are getting for Xmas this year ? Haha 🤣

Check out the store on my website - it’s super simple and I stuck to just a couple of color ways to start.

Note - I’m sharing this just to show everyone and do not expect my friends to buy anything just FYI!

Few fresh renderings of the Brutalist - gives the general idea and feel to picture in the coming weeks as we get closer to walls up and start putting her together.

Our cabinetry is already finished ✅ just last measuring for tweaks once the concrete walls are poured and all our lighting, plumbing fixtures etc and in our storage ( our porch ) haha 🤣

It’s going to be a vibe that’s for sure. In the meantime we have panels to install, rough in trades and then more concrete which I’m excited about. A whole lot more concrete in fact !

Stopped by the Brutalist on this super hot 🥵 Sunday to walk the ground plumbing since I love to see the layout and size perspective around all the bathrooms and kitchen etc - starts to feel like a house in my mind when I see the drains haha

Stopped the by Brutalist site today to look at the ground plumbing in the mist brutal hot 🥵 day!

Everything looks great - love seeing the bathroom layouts and size perspective.

Next week we are scheduled to pour footers and continue with the stemwall / slab next stages.

Full on morning at the Brutalist site today and special visitors !

Almost finished with the footers and fine tuning the sunken living room !
We also walked the plans with the plumber who is coming Wednesday to run all the ground lines and connect septic etc

Talked about the wall hung toilets and outdoor spickett locations, discussed the curb-less drains with the foundation crew who btw have the most awesome Leica measuring equipment 🤩

Anyway super excited to be moving along with this and seeing it take shape it’s the best feeling!

Today was an awesome Saturday at the Brutalist. After a LOT of engineering we got our footing started today! I am VERY happy with the organization on this - it has taken a lot of planning to get to this stage but good things take time and this build is not for the faint of heart 💜 So proud of the team at who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make my concrete dreams come true.

A very good day to celebrate 🎉 the closing of the second and last unit of Alston Urban Residences - also known as the condos :) 🖤

This has been a long journey. We broke ground June 2024! We listed for sale April 2025 and honestly expected they would sell quickly but it was a tough time with political change, high rates and over supply. Things didn’t get much better from there unfortunately as many of you know but ultimately we got it done ✅ This second unit closing has been a challenge - let’s just say my patience has been tested more than I thought possible 🤣

Thank you to for the hard work and keeping me positive the past few months and managing negotiations beyond a normal scope that almost got out of hand and to .law.closings for representing me all the way from start to finish.

Now full focus on the Brutalist and soon the Nova Barton townhomes :)

BIG NEWS 🗞️!!! We are under contract at the Alston Condos for unit 101 ! ✅ 🎊🍾

What a great weekend of showings and an accepted offer!

Cannot thank and his team for their hard work and consistent enthusiasm and optimism. The past few months I have felt the contagious excitement Landon has shown for this building.

So now who’s buying 102 with the back porch ? stay tuned as we hopefully have a nice smooth 30 days to closing.
