1. Be honest on your loan application.
2. Do NOT make any crazy purchases, like NONE. Example: appliances, cars, boats, furniture, vacations, other homes, jewelry, etc.
3. Do NOT co-sign on anything.
4. Keep your job, and don’t change jobs or industries during this process.
5. Make sure you know your estimated amount needed for closing.
6. Do NOT apply for any credit cards!
7. Do NOT change banks or move large sums of money without speaking with your lender.

When we know better, we do better!
