Great news! I just found out there are two Patrick Sterchi apartments available in downtown Newton. Patrick bought and renovated the old Haupt Building across from the State Theater and added several amazing loft apartments. One of the Studio apartments has a lease ending and it will be available on March 1. It is $1000/mo.

Patrick also has renovated the Seagle Building (formerly the HiLites building) on the square in downtown Newton. The back unit is now available and it is amazing. It is a 2BR, 2BA 950 sq ft unit that will lease for $1,600/mo.

The ANEW would like to congratulate Robert Abernethy on his big win last night in the Catawba County Commisioner’s primary. Robert is one the ANEW Group’s founding members and we look forward to great things from Commisioner Abernethy.

We would also like to congratulate the other winners last night as well. Chairman Randy Isenhower was the leading vote getter and provides great leadership to the board. Cole Setzer won the other seat. Cole is a good man and look forward to great things from him.

Things continue to look bright for Catawba County.

A member of the ANEW Group has purchased the Haupt Building in downtown Newton and is converting the top floor in to six apartments. His building on the square leased out almost immediately so don’t wait. He is ready to pre-lease these now.
