Homeowners rarely win battles against their HOAs. Sherry Loeffler is an exception. She sued after her HOA fined her $12,000 and put a lien on her Lake Wylie home.

Another development in my case! Despite spending thousands of dollars on mediation and depositions the HOA refuses to settle on my case. Now, out of the blue and after almost 5 years of working on their case, the HOA attorney has filed a motion to withdraw as counsel due to ethical concerns!!!! Really, only 6 weeks before trial. HOA abuse of power needs to stop! I’m already at around $30,000k in attorney fees and looking at another $25,000 or more when I did nothing wrong. All because of bullies with a vendetta! And legislation thinks this is ok!
