Get ready to travel to a galaxy far, far away this summer as the Town of Davidson, NC, in partnership with Ben & Jerry's, proudly presents the Star Wars Summer Movie Series - a free, family-friendly outdoor film experience running May through October.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and fellow Jedi (or Sith!) to enjoy six iconic films from the legendary Star Wars saga under the stars. Each movie night will feature trivia, prizes, and a fun community atmosphere, capped off with a movie at dusk.

Movie Lineup:
May 4 – Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope
June 1 – Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back
July 6 – Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi
August 3 – Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace
September 7 – Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones
October 5 – Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith

Festivities begin at 7:15 p.m. with themed trivia and giveaways, followed by the featured film at dusk. Attendees are encouraged to come early to secure a great viewing spot and participate in the fun.

Cost: Free admission

🐟 Exciting news for fishermen and women!
The new fishing pier at Beattys Ford Park will open for public use this Saturday April 5th.
The pier is open from sunrise to sunset each day. 🐟

Please remember the following rules when visiting the pier:
➡️Absolutely no alcohol, to***co products, or va**ng.
➡️No cutting bait or cleaning fish at the pier or in the park area.
➡️Absolutely no jumping or swimming from the pier.
➡️Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
➡️No overnight/after hours access.

If you visit and don’t follow the rules, you will be asked to leave. The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office has authority to enforce rules.
