✨ Market Update: Charlotte Real Estate is Staying Busy! 🏡

The housing market continued to show steady improvement in June, and the Charlotte region is following right along! More homes are hitting the market, buyers are staying active, and home values are continuing to hold strong. 💛

Here’s a quick look at the Charlotte-area numbers:

🏡 5,683 new listings — up 3.0%
💰 $552,988 average sales price — up 3.7%
📅 47 average days on market
🔑 4,304 homes sold
📈 Pending sales increased 8.7%
🌿 Inventory increased 5.6%, giving buyers more options

The median sales price also increased slightly to $416,893, showing that home values remain steady even as inventory grows.

What does this mean? Buyers may have a little more room to explore their options, while sellers are still benefiting from strong home values and continued demand. Whether you’re thinking about buying, selling, or simply curious about what your home may be worth, I’m always happy to help you make sense of the market! 🫶

Truth be told, I’ve never been able to write this post. Losing Jack in 2019 was harder than I ever expected, and every time I tried, I just couldn’t find the words. Somehow, today - on his birthday - feels like the right time.

Happy Birthday to our sweet Jack. 💙

Or as we called you most of the time... JackJack... or simply, Luv. And that’s exactly what you were.

For 17 years, you filled our home with love, snuggles, and more laughs than I can count. You loved every person you met, believed everyone was your new best friend, and never had a mean bone in your body. (Well... except maybe for that one unfortunate mole. 😬) The lizards, on the other hand, managed to stay one step ahead of you.

We picked you up in Atlanta and headed straight to the boys’ soccer field. Yes... it was that long ago. ❤️

Walks? Sure... as long as they involved a quick bathroom break. Exercise was much more your style when it meant sprinting laps around the house after spotting a dog through the window. 😂

Thunderstorms? Absolutely not.
The boys jumping off the dock into the lake? Also absolutely not. You took your job of supervising the family very seriously.

Those are the moments I miss the most.

You’ll always be part of the Ebert family, and today we’re thinking about you a little extra. I like to imagine you’re stretched out in the sunshine somewhere over the Rainbow Bridge... and instead of racing laps around the house, you’re doing zoomies with all your four-legged friends.

Happy Birthday, JackJack. Thank you for 17 unforgettable years of love.
