I can’t believe it took me this long to visit Lake Lure!

About a month ago, I took my very first trip to Lake Lure for a little self-care weekend, and it did NOT disappoint. The lake, the mountains, the peaceful scenery… it was exactly the reset I needed.

And the best part? It’s only about a 2-hour drive from the Charlotte area, so you don’t have to go far to feel like you’ve gotten away.

I also made my way over to Asheville for a massage because… if we’re doing self-care, we’re doing it ALL the way. 😂

After everything the Lake Lure area has been through, with the hurricane, it was really nice to visit, support the area, and see people enjoying its beauty. The resilience of this community is inspiring.
