One of our favorite burger spots in Charleston 🍔📚🌸

If you haven’t been to Poe’s Tavern on Sullivan’s Island, add it to your list. Known for serving some of the best burgers in town, this local favorite is packed with character and charm.

From the Edgar Allan Poe-inspired details throughout the restaurant to the book pages covering the bathroom walls, every corner has something fun to discover. Add in the flowers blooming outside, the laid-back island atmosphere, and a juicy burger, and you’ve got the perfect lunch stop after a beach day.

Whether you’re a Charleston local or just visiting, Poe’s Tavern is one of those places that never disappoints.

Skip the socks. Give Dad the Charleston Father’s Day he actually wants.

If your dad loves a good steak, make a reservation at Halls Chophouse. It’s one of Charleston’s most iconic dining experiences and a local favorite for celebrating special occasions.

If golf is more his style, book an early tee time at Patriots Point Links and grab a cold drink afterward at Charlestowne Fermentory.

Want something more laid back? Spend the afternoon exploring Shem Creek, grab dinner waterfront, and watch the boats come in.

Charlestonaholic and proud of it.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my favorite Charleston neighborhoods, local spots, and everything worth knowing before making the move.

There’s something about Charleston that gets in your blood.

The marsh views.

The church steeples downtown.

The oak trees dripping with Spanish moss.

The smell of salt air when you roll your windows down.

The way golden hour hits the harbor on a summer evening.

People who live here don’t just like Charleston.

They can’t stop talking about it.

They send their friends listings.

They convince family members to move here.

They become unofficial tour guides every time someone visits.

And they get excited crossing the bridge back into town after being away.

If that’s you… or if you’re still chasing that feeling and wondering if Charleston is where you’ll finally find it, this page was made for you.

I’m Amy Smith with Charleston Living Team, helping families relocate to Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Hanahan, Summerville, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, and beyond.

Whether you’re relocating, retiring, buying your first home, or finally making the move you’ve been talking about for years, I’d love to help.

Comment GUIDE or send me a DM. Let’s talk about what home looks like for you in Charleston.

A life in Charleston can be one that you actually miss when you go on vacation.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my Charleston Favorites Guide.

Honestly, this is just a random Tuesday in Charleston:

→ Coffee from Second State Coffee before the rest of the world wakes up.

→ A walk across Pitt Street Bridge that you’ve done a hundred times and somehow still love.

→ Lunch outside at Sullivan’s Fish Camp or Tavern & Table.

→ A quick drive over to Isle of Palms because the weather is too nice to stay home.

→ Sunset at Shem Creek watching the shrimp boats come in.

→ Dinner at Coda del Pesce, Obstinate Daughter, Chubby Fish, or Leon’s because it’s a Wednesday and why not.

→ Golden hour on the beach while everyone else is sitting in traffic heading home.

→ Ending the night on a porch with a breeze coming off the marsh.

That’s the thing about living in Charleston.

The everyday stuff is actually really good.

If you’re considering a move to Charleston, comment GUIDE and I’ll send over my local favorites list.
