Eight years ago, I left corporate America.
Here’s what I thought being a Realtor would be like vs. reality. 😂
💭 I thought I’d be my own boss.
REALITY: Everyone has a boss. Clients. Deadlines. Lenders. Attorneys. Inspectors. The market.
💭 I thought: No more office hours!
REALITY: My office hours are 10 a.m., 5 p.m., 9 p.m., Saturdays and whenever my clients need me.
💭 I thought: No more asking for PTO!
REALITY: No PTO means vacations just become a change of scenery with my laptop. 💻🌴
💭 I thought: No more rushed lunch breaks!
REALITY: Lunch happens in my car, driving down the interstate, between a showing and an inspection.
💭 I thought: No one will tell me what to do!
REALITY: Now I have to be my own boss, manager, motivator, accountant, marketing department, therapist and IT support.
💭 I thought I’d have freedom.
REALITY: I traded predictability for flexibility.
And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I love the hustle.
I love the challenge.
I love helping people find home. 🏡
I love helping people build wealth.
Eight years later, I’m still here. Still learning. Still working. Still helping people make moves.
Let’s talk.
