Taking advantage of the beautiful weather to do a quick chimney removal and re-roof. This client (my Daddy) was tired of the leaking chimney that hasn’t been in service in 20 years. So…. Out with the old and on with the new. New sheathing, new shingles.

March and April are going to be INSANE for us…. Because we can’t get anything done in the field right now. But that’s ok…. It’s giving us time to work on our 2026 goals and continuing education and processes & procedures. All those fun things a business owner loves!! (No really, I do)

NETWORKING

Something I have NEVER been good at. I’m a HUGE introvert at heart, (although I can talk about houses all day).

I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended our local HBA networking last week. Boy am I glad I did. I learned about new products, new vendors, and even reconnected with some prior vendors with whom we have lost touch. I cannot wait to expand on these connections and utilize the services as increased value to our clients!!!

Gutters, windows, rentals, insurance, insulation, trim moldings, roofing, siding, and oh so much more!

Pro tip!

Today fill those tubs ESPECIALLY if you have well water. That way you can flush if the power goes out!

We have city water, but you can never be too safe, if this ice storm is catastrophic like some are claiming, we may also lose city water

And don’t be afraid of being wasteful! You can always use the water for livestock or pets if you don’t need it!! Our goats and pups can drink ours!

Shout out to AJ on our crew (and my son) for coming up with this X cross brace idea. Not only is it very aesthetically appealing, the inspector was impressed with the additional strength of the support. The spacing technically only allowed for one Y brace in the center, but being an above and beyond company, that wasn’t good enough for us!!!
