Penn Jilette, from Penn and Teller, posted this video over a decade ago. Everytime it pops up I take the 5 min to watch it to give myself a reminder..... Penn is an atheist and he states that he doesn't respect Christians who don't try to spread the Gospel of Christ. He tells the story of a gentleman who gave him a Bible. He explains that if you knew a truck was coming and was going to hit someone, you would do all you could to get them out of the way. Penn (who is still an atheist) states that if we truly believe in eternal life and salvation we should be doing all we can to save people from hell. He says that not spreading the gospel, simply because it would be socially awkward, isnt something he respects. Now he explains that the guy giving him the Bible was respectful and wrote in the Bible numbers he could call for help and an email he could reach out to. The gentleman really made an impression on Penn and hopefully one day the seed he planted in Penn will grow into something wonderful. Go plant those seeds. You all have Facebook. A simple post on Facebook may spark an inner dialog in someone's heart. A text msg, a phone call, and simple question...."do you know about Jesus and the wonderful gift He gave you?". Remember when you ask someone, Are you saved?", they may not know Christian terminology.... so you have to give it to them in layman's terms. Be fruitful if you are a Christian. Spread the word. Share the gift. It's what we are called to do.

Its easy for us to say but hard to get our mind around. Too many times we look at our God through the eyes of our troubles, when in reality we should be looking at our troubles through the eyes of God. Praying over every little move we make will reap great benefits in our lives. Not just asking, but BEGGING God for His guidance through decisions and tasks. God will guide us but we also have to realize our connection with God is hindered by unconfessed sin in our lives. Make things right with God and plead for His guidance. Then, be still and listen to what He has to say. I know it's easy for me to type this but it's so so so hard for me to put into practice. ✌️
