Our first Valentine’s Day we celebrated via Skype - Andrew was in Barcelona and I was in Greenville, NC. He mailed me a coffee cup with a poem in Spanish that I still have today (18 years later).

The following year we were in Chapel Hill after I hitched a ride to get there and Andrew cooked me an entire melting pot meal.

The third year together I had surgery and we had pizza in bed. That’s been our tradition ever since - for the last 16 years.

I love our little life we’ve built together, and all the special moments and memories that you prioritize for us. Happy Valentine’s Day babe! ❤️
