Here’s a caption that makes the pre-drywall inspection feel like one of the big advantages of building new—not just another inspection:
Building a new home is exciting… but some of the most important parts of your home will eventually be hidden behind drywall. 👀🏡
That’s why one step I recommend to my new construction buyers is a pre-drywall inspection.
Before the walls are closed up, a licensed home inspector has the opportunity to look at things like framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC components and other areas that will be much harder to see once construction moves forward.
✨ New construction doesn’t mean “skip the inspection.”
It means you have a unique opportunity to inspect the home while it’s being built—and potentially address concerns before they’re covered up.
There are a LOT of moving pieces between choosing your homesite and getting the keys 🔑, and having an agent who understands the new construction process can make all the difference.
Thinking about building in the Greater Charlotte area? I’d love to help you navigate it from dirt to DONE. 🏡🔨
