Everything has a purpose...

Those piles of brown “sticks” and sometimes seaweed that can be seen at or above the high tide line is known as “wrack”. Wrack is made up mostly of a marsh grass that once dead is carried by the tide to the ocean shoreline, where it provides food sources and resting areas for shorebirds and serves to catch windblown sand to build dunes.

Wednesday Hump Day Inspiration from Hilton Head Island! These are from my walk this morning with Bailey Dog. It was amazing. Met a guy named George from Baltimore (had a huge Great Dane that Baily was trying to...you know..."befriend").

It was so serendipitous because I normally walk at night. Anyhow, we had a very nice chat and exchange of life that left us both grateful and inspired. Then met a fantastic young man named Conner, who was clearly a "seeker" and shared some very deep insights and metaphors that I can only describe as mystical.

It's in these present moments that I feel most alive and realize life IS good, its really fun, and its not hostile...life is meant to be enjoyed because everything is there to unfold for our good!
