With the COVID pandemic keeping us at home, here are some helpful tips to help you navigate
working from home:
1. Maintain regular hours to keep a healthy work-life balance while working at home
2. Create a morning routine and stick to it. Whether it’s a morning workout, a cup of coffee
or just changing out of your pajamas— create a routine to help you get your day
started!
3. Schedule breaks and take them in their entirety! Get up and move or leave your house
to grab a bite to eat if possible, to help break up the workday.
4. Create a dedicated office space— even if you don’t have a home office, setting aside a
designated workspace can be helpful for productivity and keeping that work-life
balance!
5. Stay positive and enjoy the perks of this unprecedented time of working from home!
Take breaks to do things around your house or relax and unwind in ways that you
normally wouldn’t be able to if you were in the office.

Today is and I hope you will support the new Homeowners Impact Fund! Your donations help support those experiencing homelessness like Demetrius Gonzalez who moved to Charlotte to help her sister, Elena, after she had a heart attack. Even though she is legally blind, Demetrius found a way to show up every day to care for her sister at the rehab facility but had no place to stay that would take her with two dogs. Demetrius ran out of money for hotels and began living in a tent in the woods with her canine companions. Through the help of , Demetrius and her dogs are out of the woods and in a safe home.
