Market Update - Inventory continues to slowly rise. Inflation is easing and mortgage rates (as of Jan. 17) are
averaging 6.9 percent during the month, which is still historically low.

The good news about this slower pace of sales, is that inventory and supply will have a chance to build up. Inventory in December increased 54 percent at report time and showed 6,400 homes for sale (1.6 months of supply). As of Jan. 18, there were approximately 6,700 homes for sale or 1.7 months of supply.

Buyers interested in purchasing, should strategize now regarding their financial position (financing options and down payment) – so you are prepared.
