Black FIRE, a group comprised of Black entrepreneurs and professionals in finance, insurance and real estate, is a fairly new org. Though it was conceptualized years ago, it's only been active for less than two months. We want to see it grow. So, the group will be hosting events every month in the Charlotte area for the next year. Coming up next is a Holiday Gathering/Vision Planning Party.

This particular event will be supporting a small Black-owned business and a Black photographer (as will most future events). We would love to see as many people come out as possible! There will be food, networking, giveaways and more.

When the FHFA increases the baseline for confirming loan limits, it's a fair indicator that home values are going to continue to appreciate. While prices have decreased slightly in some overpriced areas, overall home prices continue to rise. Albeit at a more slow and steady rate these days. Why is this? Because of a shift in demographics. Millennials are at peak continuing age and account for 43% of new buyers.
