Creosote logs, like this one, should be used after every 40 fires to help reduce the dangerous creosote buildup, lowering the chances of a home heating fire🔥 According to the National Fire Protection Agency report on Home Structure fires, the number 2 cause of structure fires is home heating.
Disclaimer: The creosote buster should not be used to replace chimney cleaning entirely. Chimneys still need to be cleaned and inspected annually.

Burning wood creates creosote buildup in your chimneys, while you can’t avoid creosote buildup, you can always give us a shout, E-Mail, or sneak in to our DMs, and we can come out, clean, and make sure your chimney is safe!

It’s only Tuesday! Tip: Reduce the risk of carbon monoxide (so you don’t look like this guy! 💀) All chimneys run the risk of pushing carbon monoxide back in to a home. Chimneys that are not cleaned regularly are at a much higher risk for potentially fatal exhaust issues. Annual inspection and cleaning are a must for homeowners with fireplaces or gas appliances.
