And suddenly it’s almost September again… which is funny because it was just September. 🥹🤍

Seven years ago, September meant meeting the little girl who would change our world forever. And somehow, in what feels like the blink of an eye, that tiny baby is almost SEVEN. 🥺

Watching her grow has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. She’s sweet, sassy, silly, loving, stubborn and strong-willed, clumsy, so smart, and there is no other like her (iykyk 🤪)— and I wouldn’t change a single thing. How is it possible that the days felt quite literally so very long, but the years have gone by so fast? 😭 This upcoming birthday already feels different, but my baby girl will always be my baby girl, no matter how big she gets. 💕Emersyn, we love you more than you’ll ever know. 🎀✨

I’m ambitious. I have big goals. And I genuinely love what I do.

But I’m also very aware of why I’m working so hard in the first place. 🤍

I want to build a successful career.
I want financial freedom.
I want to make an impact.
I want to chase the big goals and see just how far I can take this.

But I don’t want to build a life that looks successful from the outside while missing the moments that actually make life feel successful.

I want the school parties.
The random Thursday afternoons.
The big and little family vacations.
The hectic sports schedules.
The bedtime snuggles.
The last minute date night
The “Mom, come look at this” moments.
The little, ordinary things that I know I’ll wish I could have back one day.

Because at the end of the day, my definition of success isn’t how many houses I sell, how much money I make, or how impressive my career looks. It’s being able to build a big career AND a big life with the people I love most. That’s the goal.

And honestly? I’m learning that sometimes the most successful thing I can do is put the phone down and go be present for it. 🥹🤍

✨ Inman Connect San Diego — first time, and definitely not the last! 🌴

What an experience! I had the opportunity to attend Inman Connect for the first time and experience it alongside our CEO & Inman Connect panel speaker David Hoffman and the GOAT of DHR, Beth Ann Kelly . I learned A LOT, met some incredible people in the industry, got inspired by some really smart minds, and we managed to squeeze in a little fun along the way. ☀️

And San Diego… WOW. We barely scratched the surface, but I already know I need to go back. 🌊

I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity, the support, and the people who continue to encourage me to learn, grow, and become better at what I do so I can bring it back with me to NC to better serve my people. 🫶🏽

As the world would have it, while I was soaking up all this knowledge in San Diego, I was also dealing with approximately 525,600 fires back home with some of my transactions. 😂
The universe may have been trying REALLY hard to kill some of these deals… but not on my watch. 💪🏼

So here’s to growing, learning, persevering, figuring it out, and not taking life too seriously. Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep going. And maybe have a little fun while you’re at it. ❤️
