One of the many reasons we love living in Charlottesville!

Our family spent the last couple of days at UVA’s Pro-Am swim meet, watching some of the best swimmers in the world compete right here in our backyard.

Katie Ledecky, Caeleb Dressel, Kate Douglass, Alex and Gretchen Walsh, and so many other Olympic athletes. Pretty incredible to have this kind of access to world-class athletics in our little community.

Just another reminder of what makes Charlottesville such a special place to call home! 🏊‍♂️

Just sold in Palmyra 🏡

My clients are retired and were ready for a move that brought them closer to their son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids.
Their wish list was pretty specific. They wanted a little bit of land, but not so much that it became a full-time job. They needed space for their RV, a large garage, and room for a workshop since he’s a blacksmith and has plenty of tools and equipment.

We had been looking on and off for quite a while. Then this gem came on the market, and it was almost too perfect.

Less than four years after getting my Virginia license, I cracked the Top 50 agents in our MLS, out of more than 4,200 agents who have closed a transaction in 2026.

After practicing real estate in Chicago since 2009, moving our family 1,000 miles and starting over was a leap of faith. Bringing Compass to Charlottesville was an idea, a lot of conversations, and a belief that this market was ready for something different. Today, we’re building what I always envisioned: a one stop shop for everything real estate & home.

My clients relocated to Charlottesville from Baltimore and chose a beautiful new home in Brookhill. They had a great time going through the design process, and I enjoyed helping them make smart decisions along the way about which upgrades were worth the money and which ones they could skip and do later.

I also love a good blue tape walkthrough!

I’ve sold and built a lot of new construction over the years, and I genuinely enjoy the process and blue taping the sh*t out of houses. I have a keen eye for the little imperfections, but more importantly, I know what to look for, what we should ask the builder to address (everything), what’s worth pushing on, what’s not, and how to navigate the process from contract through closing.

Buying new construction can look easy, but there are a lot of decisions, nuances, and issues between picking a homesite and getting the keys. Having someone in your corner who has been through the process many times can make a big difference.

Just sold in Old Trail!

This one is bittersweet. My sellers here were among my first clients after moving to Charlottesville, and we became fast friends. Our kids became friends too, which makes seeing their family leave the area especially tough.

It has been an honor to earn their trust not just once, but again as repeat clients. There are a lot of choices when it comes to who you work with in real estate, and that kind of continued trust means a lot to me.
