So this happened today.

Finished a rental inspection and an unprovoked bee or wasp attacked me. One got in my van and as i jumped out he landed on my cheek walked to my lip and stung me.

Now lip is swollen hart feels great beating hard and now my joints hurt. Grrr

Mold can be found in many places, this is because it only needs 3 things to grow.
1) A biological component (typically wood or paper product but it can grow on dust).
2) Temperature (unfortunately most can grow between -10° & 120°).
3) Moisture either high ambient humidity (over 55% RH) or saturation from roof, plumbing, foundation leak (over 20% moisture content for more than 48hrs).

While we can’t control the first two we can the third.

But one place that is over looked most often and under suspected is the inside the air ducts and HVAC. Son systems have fiberglass insulation inside to prevent condensation or if dust gets built up, or if a basement floods. Mold can grow inside your air handling system.

Have your HVAC system cleaned every few years or after treating for mold.

The Solar Eclipse is today, locally the partial eclipse will be visible from 12:47-3:20pm with the peak of 96% at 2:04pm.

Eye safety is upmost importance. Only use undamaged ISO 12312-2 filters. Since we are not in the path of totality, the filters should be worn the entire time you’re looking towards the eclipsed sun, here’s how: “Stand still and cover your eyes with your eclipse glasses or solar viewer before looking at the bright Sun. After looking at the Sun, turn away and remove your filter - do not remove it while looking at the Sun.”

Even with proper filters, we advise looking at the sun for moments at a time, not for the entire couple hours. Please be safe today.
