🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER.
25 years ago today, September 11, 2001, our nation experienced a day that forever changed us.
We remember the 2,977 lives taken too soon.
We honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when every instinct said to run away.
We remember the families who said goodbye that morning without knowing it would be the last time.
And we remember what happened afterward.
For a moment, we weren't divided by neighborhoods, backgrounds, beliefs, or differences.
We were simply Americans.
Strangers helped strangers.
Neighbors checked on neighbors.
Flags appeared on homes and businesses across the country.
And in the face of unimaginable tragedy, courage and compassion reminded us who we could be.
Twenty-five years later, may we never allow the passing of time to diminish the weight of that day—or the lessons it left behind.
Remember the lives.
Honor the heroes.
Never forget.
