It's definitely Spooky Season over here at Hollowberry. We have a new resident, Henri, and his little boy Louis. They're both real charmers, ready for a good laugh, and always ready to tell a short story the long way!

Please, make them feel welcome. Share a cup of tea, or invite them to do a puzzle. They don't sleep much, so they'll keep an eye on things at night and make sure all is as it should be.

Majestic is a dramatic and dark chamber, and is truly a destination. Leaning towards a Scottish castle theme, many guests have commented that it makes them feel they are at Hogwarts! Dark and cozy, it feels like it holds untold stories and history. Perhaps they belong to the Lady with an Ermine in the corner? Pull the heavy velvet drapes shut, then snuggle in and listen.

The massive antique queen bed was destined to be in this room; pictures don't do it justice. Weighing over 400 pounds, this beautiful beast was a terrifying experience to get up the stairs. I thought my heart would burst when it had to go past the Tiffany chandelier! Along with 1 additional twin, this room sleeps 2 very comfortably. The silky white fur rug is an extra luxurious perk.

Beds: 1 Queen, 1 Twin
Current Occupancy: 2
Temp: Temperate/Cool
Light: Dark/Brooding
Bathroom: Monet

Happy World Card Making Day! I know many of you are paper crafters, even if that isn't your primary craft. I have given and received manymanymany handmade cards over the last 30 years. There is something truly special about them, and I keep every one!

In the comments, share a picture of a handmade card you've made or received, OR share a time when receiving a card made a difference to you 💜

Everybody help me wish this handsome guy a Happy 80th Birthday!

This is my dad, Brent. If you have every been comfortable, fed, warm, cool, showered, clean, or had fun at Hollowberry Manor, I can 100% guarantee it's because of something he has fixed, taken out, installed, or re-engineered. This man is a mechanical genius, and he loves this house just as much as the rest of us.

Happy Birthday, Dad!

The holidays are just around the corner, and you can bet I'm preparing ;) These little beauties hopped into my cart at the thrift store, and I knew they would find the perfect home at Hollowberry Manor.

They will visit us each October. Please give a warm welcome to Clara, Ophelia, Sally, and Polly; they are very happy to be here! I just know they will want to visit every room in the house. What they ask all of you who visit is..."won't you craft with me?"
