Today is RED Day — Renew, Energize, and Donate

It’s a day where agents and offices across the country step away from business and focus on giving back to the communities we’re proud to serve.

Even better, I got to spend part of RED Day with my son alongside me! Moments like this matter because it’s bigger than work. It’s about setting an example, serving others, and being involved in the community

Today, our team at Keller Williams Experience will spend the day partnering with Blessings in a Backpack supporting students affected by food insecurity right here in our community not only monetarily but also by packing the backpacks at our office.

Just sold in Romeoville 🏡

This one was a ride in the best way!
We started this journey with buyers who were completely new to the process. No experience, no roadmap, just a big goal and a lot of trust... AND THAT IS OK! They showed up ready to learn, asked the right questions, and leaned on the guidance every step of the way.

We found a home that felt like the one and got it under contract. Everything was lining up… and then it fell apart because of the seller. That’s one of those moments that can knock people off track, especially when it’s your first time going through it... But not them!

They stayed locked in. No panic, no second guessing. Just kept moving forward. And that’s where things turned.

Another one closed in Plainfield! 🎉

Closed one yesterday that meant a little more than most.

This one was for a close friend, handling the sale after a loss in the family. Situations like this come with a lot more than just real estate… and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

From day one, there was trust. We put a clear plan together, brought in the right people, and got to work. With the support of our team, we connected him with an estate sale company, someone to come clear the house, got everything lined up, and hit the market strong.

📉 Mortgage rates just dropped again and they’re the lowest we’ve seen in 3 years!

That’s a big deal.

We’re now seeing averages around:
• 30-Year Fixed: ~6.06%
• 15-Year Fixed: ~5.59%
• FHA & VA options moving lower as well

Why this matters right now:

➡️ Buyers:
Lower rates = lower monthly payments and more purchasing power. For many, this is the difference between waiting and finally being able to move forward.

➡️ Sellers:
When rates drop, buyers who’ve been sitting on the sidelines start paying attention again. More buyers means more activity and better momentum for homes that are priced and positioned correctly.
