Happy Mother’s Day to every single woman out there. 💜
But real talk — I see ALL of y’all today. Not just the ones with the brunch reservations and the flower deliveries. 💐
I see the mom doing it completely alone because her child’s father decided his responsibility was optional 👏🏽
I see the woman who has been praying and fighting and crying for a baby that hasn’t come yet. Today is heavy for you and I want you to know you are not forgotten 🥹💫
I see the mom who lost somebody — a child, a mother, a piece of herself and this day just brings it all back 🙏🏽
I see the woman who will smile through it, get dressed, show up for herself and keep going. That takes strength most people will never understand 💪🏾
And I see the ones who just need today to be over. No judgment. Feel what you feel 😭
I didn’t grow up big on holidays, so days like this I move through differently. But what I’ve learned is — you don’t need a designated day to celebrate yourself. You deserve that every single day 🙌🏾
So whether today feels like a celebration or just another Sunday — I’m rooting for you All of Us 💜
