In an industry that can be as competitive as Real Estate, it’s refreshing to have someone like Lance Kirshner.

He created a rare thing, an event bringing together people that are technically his competition.

It’s not common that leaders of big teams come to events like this, but that’s also because Lance is not a common man (if you see him driving you’ll know that even more lol)

Two years ago when I had a real talk with him for the first time, he gave me great advice…

I can’t say I followed it 100% but I know it’s right and it means more to me than he’ll ever remember.

And these are the 3️⃣ things I should have done when I was just starting out as a real estate agent.

✅ Build my brand early.
I realized too late how important it is to establish a reputation right from the start. If I had focused on creating a recognizable and trustworthy image early on, I would have gained clients faster and built stronger connections.

✅ Focus on one goal and niche.
When I started, I tried to be everything to everyone, but that only slowed me down. I wish I had picked one niche—whether it was first-time buyers or luxury homes—and worked on becoming the go-to expert in that area.

✅ Avoid being complacent.
I wish I had pushed myself harder, especially when things were going smoothly. Success in real estate isn’t about staying comfortable; it’s about constantly improving and finding ways to stand out in a competitive market.

If you’re starting your journey in real estate or thinking of taking the next step, remember, it’s never too late to build your brand, focus your efforts, and keep pushing forward.

Throwback to 2023 ✨ Time really flies, and today, I’m just feeling so grateful. Grateful for the challenges, the wins, the lessons, and for all the moments that shaped me.
