What’s the first step in preparing your home for the market? – Maintaining that home in optimal condition. So when one of my clients contacted me, worried that her shower needs re-grouting, I stopped by to take a look. In fact, the grout in her shower is fine. But the shower needs to be re-caulked. Caulking can relieve my client’s stress, save thousands of dollars, and get her shower back up and running in a matter of hours, instead of weeks.

Home design decisions, maintenance issues, and renovation projects can seem daunting. That’s why, over the past 25 years, many clients have enlisted me to guide them in selecting furnishings, wall and floor tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, paint colors – the list goes on. They trust me and my design and construction management experience to secure competitive bids, review proposals, source materials, and oversee projects start to finish.

This time, all that is required is re-caulking a shower – something I’ve done many times. I’ve gathered the materials, and now I’m on my way to complete the job even though my client doesn’t expect to list her apartment anytime soon.
