Contractors, real question.

When you add up EVERYTHING, what do you actually make per hour?

NOT what you charge… what you actually take home after factoring in:

• Estimates that never turn into jobs
• Store runs
• Design / planning time
• Tool costs
• Customer changing s*t around mid project, scheduling subcontractors, etc.

When you divide that across the year, are you making $40–$60+/hr?
Or does the real number end up lower?

A follow up to that is;

If a remodeling company handled sales, estimates, scheduling, and pickup/delivery of materials, and all you had to do was show up and build…
Would you take $30–$40/hr guaranteed?

Or would you still rather run everything yourself?

Curious where most contractors actually land at.

Housing isn’t unaffordable by accident.

Middlemen inflate prices adding to the cody of the house.
Flippers are FORCED to overprice just to make numbers work and Communities pay the price.

I don’t want to break records. I want to sell homes at FAIR prices.
But that only works if I can buy direct.

If you know the distressed house on your street or the one you drive by every day, get me the info. That’s how we cut out the extra tax and put better housing back into the market.

As designers too, we try to think of all the things someone could want, need or say about a space. Then we do what we think is the best fit and the most practical for that space.

I don’t know if yall noticed the built in dog bowls at the bottom right, at the beginning. If they have a dog it’s great, if not it still works as storage. Maybe some vegetables or something…
But for US it’s always the little things that count!!

We see this SAME story over and over again!! As consumers ourself we TOTALLY understand wanting to pay the least for the BEST quality.
We also understand that there’s also cases of people paying a lot and STILL getting poor quality.
Thats why we PRIDE ourselves in our transparency and quality! We’ll tell you right out the gate, we’re not the cheapest option and if price is more important to you, then continue price shopping. But if QUALITY is more important then the PRICE is the price.
