Story Time with a full circle moment 🩷
8 years ago this month, I began a difficult hospital bedrest journey. For 12 weeks I lived away from my family to give my growing baby boy the best chance at survival.
During that time, a few nurses became family. They were there every day to not only do their jobs as nurses, but to also be a person for me to talk to. They were there for my maternity photos, frequent visits with my four kids who were at home with my husband, my daughter’s 7th birthday, my birthday, and the day my son arrived safely. They were the light in a difficult time.
I was blessed to stay connected with a few, one of them being Jenny Mack. After my hospital days were over, we realized we lived a few miles from each other and our boys were only a year apart. We would cross paths at school functions, basketball games, etc. In sort of weird way, I loved that she was able to see the baby she cared for and that he is thriving! She was a part of that. 🩷
Earlier this year she asked me to help her find a new home. We ultimately decided a new construction was the best option for her and today we closed. We have watched her home be built from the ground up! Even better, we have gotten to chat often just like the hospital days.
8 years ago she helped me and I will always be grateful to her. Today, it was an honor to be by her side as she begins this new chapter in her new home. 🥹
Congratulations Jenny, and family. I am so happy for you.
