“Built in the City”
In the heart of Cincinnati, Buddy landed a job with one of the top companies—Thomas & Galbraith. He wasn’t the most experienced on the team, but he had something rare: drive, curiosity, and humility. From day one, he made it his mission not just to clock in and out, but to learn—from the ground up.
Each day brought him into contact with other employees, managers, supervisors, dispatch, and HR. Buddy didn’t just shake hands—he built relationships. He asked questions. Stayed late. He listened as experienced professionals broke down systems, shared real-world knowledge, and pointed out what to avoid. He soaked it all in.
The job was more than a paycheck; it was a front-row seat to how the city moved. Being part of a respected company like Thomas & Galbraith opened doors that would’ve been locked otherwise. People took his calls. Mentors offered insight. Opportunities came.
By his third year, Buddy didn’t just know how to install or repair systems—he knew who to call, when to pivot, and how to lead.
That’s when he knew: working for the best had never been about the name on his shirt—it was about the relationships, lessons, and reputation he’d gained along the way. And one day, he’d use it all to build something of his own.
