One of my favorite places to explore here in Pickaway County is Slate Run Metro Park

If you haven’t been out to the historic farm area, it’s definitely worth the visit. The park features a working 1880s farm with beautiful red barns, windmills, livestock, and wide open farmland that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. It’s a peaceful place to walk around, bring the family, or just enjoy some fresh air.

Parks like this are one of the many reasons people love living in our area. Whether you’re looking for quiet country views, outdoor spaces, or a home near places like this, Pickaway County has a lot to offer.

We went out of town this weekend and honestly… if this doesn’t sum up June, I don’t know what does.
On the way there she was all curled up and cozy.
By the fire she needed her safe space.
After running all day she crashed hard.
And when she finally felt comfortable? She was completely free and so, so happy.

It reminded me why home matters so much. Home is where you feel safe enough to rest.
Comfortable enough to be yourself.

-Lots and LOTS of training for my 24 hour ultra marathon next month
- Ran 17 miles on the treadmill(longest long run ever 😊)
- Dinner dates at Easton
- Lots of miles with June & Mason
-Sunshine when we can get it
-Celebrated June turning 5 🐾
-Weekend trip to Tennessee with family

Valentine’s Day will always mean a little more to me, because it’s the birthday of the sweetest soul I know, the one who reminds me every single day what unconditional love truly looks like. She is the steady presence behind my business, the warm welcome at the door, and the reminder that home should feel safe, joyful, and full of life.

June embodies the heart of everything I believe about real estate. A house is important but what truly matters is how it feels when you walk through the door. Comfort. Loyalty. Belonging.

On a day that celebrates love, it only makes sense that the most loving soul I know was born on Valentine’s Day. She truly has the sweetest birthday of them all.
