For years, the Red River Gorge was known almost entirely for rock climbing — but if you’ve spent any time here lately, you know it’s becoming so much more than that.

There’s a creative energy in eastern Kentucky right now that’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself.

I love seeing an American flag flying in front of a home. To me, it represents more than patriotism. It stands for freedom, sacrifice, hard work, family, and the people who gave everything to protect the country we get to call home.

Memorial Day is a reminder that the life we enjoy today was paid for by men and women who never made it back to theirs.

Remembering and honoring them today. 🇺🇸

This time of year, I’m always reminded just how grateful I am to live here.

I'm so excited about the growth in our small town - new cabins, new businesses, new people discovering what makes this place special.

But even with all the progress, it still feels like us. The small-town heart, the familiar faces, the sense of community… none of that gets lost.

When the holidays roll in and it’s mostly locals again, you can really feel it. You’re not just living near the Gorge - you’re part of something real.
