We’re against w**d fabric in most scenarios.
However it does have its uses in certain scenarios.
No plants ➡️ fabric.
Plants ➡️ no fabric.

W**D FABRIC: LANDSCAPER’S BEST FRIEND… OR BIGGEST SCAM?
Some guys won’t install a bed without it.
Others rip it out on every cleanup job they touch.
THE REAL DEBATE:
PROS: • Helps slow w**ds down
• Keeps rock from sinking into soil
• Can make fresh installs look cleaner longer
• Useful under certain stone applications
CONS: • W**ds STILL grow on top of it
• Roots can grow through it over time
• Cheap fabric turns into shredded garbage
• Makes future cleanups & replanting a nightmare
• Can choke soil and hurt bed health if misused
Truth nobody wants to admit: W**d fabric is NOT “w**d proof.”
It’s a temporary tool — not magic.
Some landscapers use it correctly.
Some use it to hide shortcuts.

✅ Removed 20 dead and unwanted large to medium shrubs
✅ planted 14 large green giant arborvitae shrubs
✅ trimmed 182 (yes 182)
Shrubs
✅ deep new edges totaling
1325 linear feet!
✅ cleaned up all debris
✅ installed 32 yards of new mulch
✅ mowed and trimmed lawn
✅ blew off entire parking lot
