🧡 Upstate & SC Warming Shelters – This Weekend
These are all services I am currently aware of offering warming shelters.
ADDITIONAL HELP AVAILABLE
- Limited pet boarding assistance available through a local small-business boarder (case-by-case).
- Transportation to warming shelters may be available.

🧡 City of Clemson – Emergency Warming Shelters (2)
If you or someone you know needs a warming shelter, call the non-emergency line: 864-624-2000
This same number can also be used to report after-hours water leaks, downed trees, and power lines.
Important: This is the non-emergency line at the Clemson Police Department.
Emergency warming centers will open Friday (time TBD).
Check-in location: Clemson Police Department
Requirements: ID or name + date of birth (to check for s*x offenders, etc.)
A supervisor will es**rt guests to the Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room.
If capacity is reached, a secondary location will open at Little John Community Center.
Pets are NOT permitted due to allergies.

🧡 Union County – Officials said it has an emergency shelter plan in place. Should anyone need emergency shelter, contact any law enforcement officer, call 911 or walk up to the police department front door. 911 staff will contact shelter staff, and they will contact you. Please note that road conditions may alter shelter operations.
