We closed on Sailboat!! I see a lot of posts from agents with all of the results from a successful closing, but rarely do people get to see the behind-the-scenes. This particular neighborhood at any given moment had 19-25 homes on the market, and 0-1 home under contract. In layman’s terms, that means that if you list a home in this neighborhood, there’s a 19 month (1.5 year) supply of homes on the market. Our sellers were rockstars, and had great patience, and if there were issues, they jumped on them immediately and took care of it. There was lots of really tough conversations about negative feedback coming in, high hopes about positive feedback that didn’t result in an offer, and 14 months worth of check ins, market updates, 2 presidential administrations, and all of the changes in the market. We ended up getting a solid cash offer, a great buyer, and sailed smoothly into closing this afternoon. Congratulations to everyone involved, and a special thank you to my amazing sellers Carla and Jim Damato.
