Completed my 1st 1031 this past week. Traded up from one of my original duplex properties in Fairport to obtain two 5 units and a neighboring duplex, net gain of 10 units. Have to turn the units in the 5plex, but rents should go up $200+ per door once Completed. Monopoly in the real world is fun if you learn the game...

Been a while since there was a new asset added into the portfolio... Completing half of my first 1031 exchange as just recently sold the Fairport duplex to add this 5 unit apartment building in Ashtabula. Added 2.5x the collected rent with half of the exchange. Got one other purchase brewing, so stay tuned!
