This past weekend wasn’t about being seen, it was about getting still. Resetting. Reflecting. Replenishing. 🙏🏾

I loved seeing so many of my partners at Invest Fest doing their thing and killing it, but I knew personally that I needed a RESET.

Life has been changing in ways I never imagined. Going through a separation, rebuilding myself, strengthening my relationship with God, and creating a new and healthier relationship with my entire family has forced me to look deeper within myself.

With new doors opening, relationships growing stronger, and a new chapter unfolding, I took some time to refocus. I wrote some things down, released some things, and even burned some of the pain into ashes, literally. 🔥

Some things you simply don’t carry into your next season.

I relaxed. Ate good. Sat with my thoughts. Prayed. Reflected. And most importantly, I gave myself permission to simply BE.

The highlight of my weekend was visiting The Potter’s House and receiving a powerful message centered around CHAOS. Bishop T.D. Jakes , sarahjakesroberts Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts, and Pastor Touré Roberts poured into the house, but one scripture stayed with me:

Genesis 6:18 “But with thee will I establish my covenant.” 🙏🏾

Right in the middle of chaos, God was still speaking to Noah about COVENANT.

That hit differently because sometimes the chaos isn’t God abandoning you. It may be the very season where He’s rebuilding you, redirecting you, and preparing you for what comes next.

I’m thankful for the friendship that encouraged me to go. I’m thankful for my family. I’m thankful for my growing relationship with God. And believe it or not, I’m even thankful for the chaos.

I don’t have every answer yet, and that’s okay.

I just know the storm won’t last forever. The sun will rise again, and I believe everything I’m walking through is preparing me for everything I’ve been praying for. ☀️🙏🏾

A few years ago, this young lady reached out to me while she was working in construction. She had a vision, a strong work ethic, and the determination to build something bigger than herself.

Fast forward to today, she’s acquired multiple properties and is well on her way to building a real estate portfolio that can create true financial freedom. 📈🏡

This past weekend, I had the privilege of blessing families who faithfully support our Bingo Hall by giving away free toys and other items for their children.

It may not be Christmas, but for us, it was Christmas in July. The truth is, many families face challenges all year long—not just during the holidays. A simple act of kindness, a toy, or a smile can bring hope during difficult times and remind a child that they are seen, loved, and valued.

Being able to give back to our community is one of the greatest blessings. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait for Christmas season as we continue finding more ways to support even more families.
